Ms. Pan's Biography:
I was born in Brooklyn, New York as the middle child of three children. I attended high school at Sheepshead Bay High School. After graduating from high school, I attended college at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where I double majored in English Language Arts and Economics. Immediately after Michigan, I moved to Chicago to become a teacher. For my student teaching experience, I taught at Farragut Career Academy. Then, I started working at Simpson Academy For Young Women. While concurrently teaching at Simpson Academy, I attended graduate school at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. Just last year, I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching. This year marks my third year teaching at Simpson.
Outside of school, I enjoy trying new restaurants throughout the city of Chicago and traveling to cities around the United States. In this upcoming year, my boyfriend, Kevin and I will be traveling to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. We hope will have the chance to visit other new cities in the near future. I also enjoy trying new recipes, and learning how to cook
basic recipes. When I am not cooking or traveling, I am discovering new books.
